The Bosch Universal reputation of quality began in 1952. Known for performance and exceptional reliability, Bosch takes food preparation to a whole new level. The Bosch kitchen mixer is uniquely designed with its motor out of the way, making it more compact and lightweight.

Dual wire whips spin independently as they rotate, creating triple whipping action and allowing you to whip as little as one egg white into over a cup of meringue. Wire whips aerate light or pourable mixtures and batters, mash cooked potatoes, or shred hot, cooked meats in seconds. The heavy-duty dough hook mimics the motions of hand kneading to stretch, tuck, and fold the dough for maximum gluten development, kneading 100% of the dough every 4 rotations.

With the included dough hook extender, you can knead as little as one loaf of bread (3 cups flour) or up to 14 1-pound loaves, with either white or whole grain flour. The powerful belt-driven transmission delivers adequate torque to knead light or heavy loads without overheating or bogging down. The dough hook can also mix up to 34 dozen cookies in a single batch.Four suction feet on the base grip the mixer to your counter and provide optimum stability.

Choose from 4 speeds with pulse. Convenient cord storage. 6.5-quart bowl locks in place and has a removable drive shaft for easy cleaning. Bowl, lid, pouring shield, and wire whips are dishwasher safe; dough hook is hand-wash only. The included blender fits on the direct drive to the 800 watt motor, has a large 6 cup capacity and is made of sturdy Lexan material. Dual stainless steel blades are designed to pull the food down into a vortex to easily pulverize, mix, and blend.

Many optional accessories and attachments are available to purchase for increased functionality, such as a meat grinder, citrus juicer, cookie paddles, cake paddles, bowl scraper, food processor, slicer/shredder, pasta maker, and more.

I have had my Bosch mixer since 1980… in the late 90s my blender motor area failed and I didn’t have a place to get it fixed… the Internet did not exist as it does today so I discarded blender and capped that portion off because the mixer was still working well and I loved it …then my my kids thought they were doing me a favor by buying me a KitchenAid …I hated it.. still use my the motor is beginning to slow down so I would like to get a new one and it will definitely be a Bosch. I’ve gotten rid of the KitchenAid that I hated and hanging on to my bosch until I can afford a new one

I have had my Bosch for 21 years. I use it a couple of times a week for bread and rolls and the blender. It’s a work horse. Never had any problems with it and it gets used a lot! I love it.

I have also had my Bosch mixer since 1980. It came with a stainless steel bowl. And I still use it! I lost the blender in one of our many moves, but the mixer works great! Lately it sounded like it was slowing down when on low but I put a little oil on it and it sounds back to normal. I know I will need to buy a new mixer one of these days–but so far so good! I don’t know what the new ones are like, but I can tell you the old ones were built to last! I bake 5 loaves of bread every other week and place a large amount of dough in there! I am still amazed what a great mixer this is!
